How Thrift works
  • Your data stays on your device. Transactions, budgets and goals live in your browser — nothing is uploaded unless you ask a question here.
  • Import a CSV from your bank on the Import page to populate your ledger in seconds.
  • Ask in plain English. I read your ledger to answer questions and can add budgets, log spends, or set goals on your behalf.
  • You stay in control. Every action I take is logged as a tool call you can see below the reply.
