How we protect your data
Encrypted on your device
Everything is encrypted with AES-256-GCM before it ever touches storage. The key is derived from your passphrase and never leaves your browser.
We cannot see or recover it
Your data lives only on your device. We have no access to it, do not store it, and cannot recover a lost passphrase.
Auto-locks after inactivity
The app locks automatically after five minutes of inactivity, when you switch tabs, or when you close the window. The key stays only in memory.
Nothing leaves your device
No data is sent to our servers. The only exception is if you choose to use the Ask AI feature, which sends your query — not your full ledger — to an AI service.
